Overview In this role, you oversee construction work for DC Water's Process Facilities Program, ensuring contract requirements are met across multiple projects. You'll coordinate with the Owner's Advisor and field teams to resolve constructability issues and monitor submittals, testing, and commissioning. You join the PMO at Blue Plains to support a large capital program focused on water and wastewater facilities. Your work directly supports safe, compliant, and efficient project delivery with a focus on value and performance.

Responsibilities- Act as field representative to ensure compliance with contract documents
- Collaborate with project team to resolve constructability issues
- Monitor submittal register/log and facilitate reviews with stakeholders
- Review payroll submissions and conduct labor standards interviews as needed
- Maintain electronic project documentation in PMIS (logs, correspondence, submittals)
- Ensure as-builts are reviewed and accurate per PDE requirements
- Assist O&M with review of submittals and training for asset information
- Monitor progress of testing, commissioning, and closeout
- Perform warranty inspections and support O&M during warranty period
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 15+ years of construction experience in water/wastewater facilities or pump stations
- Ability to read and interpret plans, schedules, and specs
- Extensive knowledge of construction means and methods across multiple disciplines
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Independent thinker with ability to work in a team
- Experience delivering projects via collaborative/alternative delivery models (PDB, DB, CMAR)
- Proficiency in MS Office; PMIS experience (eBuilder, Procore, Oracle Unifier); AutoDesk experience preferred
