Overview As Senior Vice President, you will turn Reference Data strategy into practical business architecture and engineering-ready requirements. You'll define models and governing patterns for key entities, linking business outcomes to data design. You'll collaborate across Product, Operations, Architecture and Engineering to drive adoption and actionable data controls. Responsibilities- Define conceptual and logical models for key entities and their hierarchies (Party, Client, Legal Entity, Account, Contract, Product, Service, Instrument).
- Model complex relationships across Asset Servicing and related domains; define authoritative-source and registry patterns.
- Translate business outcomes into testable rules and engineering-ready requirements.
- Define data distribution, lifecycle patterns, ownership, and decision rights across platforms.
- Design data lifecycle processes: request, creation, matching, enrichment, change, retirement; establish governance and escalation rules.
- Develop repeatable adoption patterns for additional business domains.
- Use SQL and data profiling to validate relationships, rules, and data quality; prototype architecture hypotheses.
- Translate architecture into functional requirements, mappings, acceptance criteria and controls; partner with Engineering on implementation trade-offs and sequencing.
Key requirements- Significant experience in Reference Data, Master Data, Business Data Architecture or Information Architecture
- Experience designing complex party, client, account or relationship models
- Experience defining authoritative-source, lifecycle-management, global identifiers, entity resolution, golden-record or registry patterns
- Experience translating business scenarios into engineering-ready requirements
- Experience partnering with Product, Operations, Architecture and Engineering
- Strong conceptual, logical, hierarchy, relationship and effective-dated modeling skills
- Experience designing Reference Data lifecycle, stewardship, data-quality and control processes
- Strong SQL and hands-on data-profiling capabilities
- Ability to connect business outcomes, operating processes, data models and engineering requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline; 10-12 years in data management services in relevant financial domains
