Overview As a Technical Solutions Architect, you own the technical architecture and AI-accelerated proposal work behind State Medicaid RFP/RFI responses. You design cloud, data, application, and integration layers to support the pursuit strategy and produce technical artifacts and cost inputs. You apply AI tooling to speed up drafting and diagrams, ensuring designs meet standards and regulatory frameworks. You collaborate closely with the Solution Lead and pursuit team to deliver sound, buildable solutions that align with client needs and public sector guidelines.

Responsibilities- Design architecture for State Medicaid RFP/RFI responses across cloud, data, application, and integration layers
- Translate technical requirements into feasible architecture options and flag risks and differentiators
- Create artifacts: diagrams, solution matrices, integration patterns, and technical cost inputs
- Align designs with enterprise standards, regulatory requirements, and Medicaid frameworks (MITA, CMS)
- Leverage AI tools (Azure OpenAI, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate drafting and diagramming
- Develop reusable technical assets and compliance-ready response sections
- Design AI-enabled architectures using generative AI, RAG, and automation
- Support Solution Lead, BD, and delivery teams during solutioning and Q&A sessions
- Escalate feasibility concerns to the Solution Lead and drive AI tool adoption in RFP development
- Build accelerators, templates, and knowledge assets for engineering and pursuit teams
- Stay current on emerging AI, cloud, and public sector health tech trends
Key requirements- 10+ years in solution architecture, technical pre-sales, or technical consulting
- 8+ years providing technical architecture for large-scale RFP/RFI in government domains
- 8+ years experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and enterprise architecture design
- Bachelor's or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
