Overview In this onsite role, you will deploy SAS Viya and support AML-related software and data ingestion frameworks to enable effective transaction monitoring. You will collaborate with AML and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions and provide 24/7 production support. You'll work in an agile environment, shaping technical solutions and maintaining documentation. This is a hands-on position that combines development, administration, and operational responsibility to drive robust AML data platforms.

Responsibilities- Develop or enhance software to support banking needs
- Lead design, development, unit testing, and production deployment activities
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews and testing guidance
- Partner with testers, analysts, and business stakeholders
- Diagnose complex data quality, performance, and availability issues
- Provide L3 production support 24/7/365 across the team
- Facilitate monitoring, high availability, and production support methodologies
- Configure users, groups, and roles across business functions
- Follow Agile processes and participate in ceremonies
- Serve as technical lead for automated systems or procedures
- Train and mentor junior resources
- Maintain system documentation and onboarding guides
- Address production issues and implement continuous improvements
- Balance development and production support responsibilities
- Engage with cross-team colleagues to deliver technical solutions
- Produce and apply technical guidelines for testing and deployment
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience
- 5+ years in software development with SAS, SQL, Python, Java, Spring Boot and ETL tools
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently in an Agile team
- Proven experience with SAS Viya platform and administration (v3.5+) preferred
- Experience writing API micro-services and SAS scripts
- Hands-on AWS Cloud Platform / Kubernetes experience
- Familiarity with big data platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake) and cloud tech
- Experience with monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Zenoss, Splunk, DataDog)
- Experience with GitHub repositories and DevOps practices
