Overview

Senior Data Science Product Manager to guide AI/ML initiatives for a federal customer. You will bridge technology and strategy, shaping a product vision within the Digital Intelligence Environment. You'll analyze data, identify sources, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define milestones and roadmaps. Your work will influence enterprise approaches, interact with stakeholders, and translate complex AI capabilities into actionable product outcomes. This role offers meaningful impact in advancing AI-driven decision making for national security programs.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze large data sets to identify patterns and recommend improvements for client capabilities
  • Identify valuable data sources and automate mining/collection processes
  • Preprocess structured and unstructured data
  • Articulate trends and strategic insights from data to inform product direction
  • Define product milestones and contribute to long-term roadmap
  • Coordinate with software engineering to deliver user-centric experiences meeting IC/DoD standards
  • Engage stakeholders, users, and development teams to align on product vision
  • Support full product development lifecycle from concept to evaluation, particularly for moderately complex efforts
  • Represent product vision at reviews and with external partners at industry/government events
  • Collaborate with product and program managers to ensure alignment with NGA AI/ML Program objectives
  • Stay current with AI/ML advances and apply learnings to customer environment
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Active TS/SCI CI or TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI if required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making
  • Agile/scrum experience or familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Working knowledge of multiple programming languages and statistical packages
  • Experience in AI space (6+ months)
  • Ability to work in a team and support collaborative problem solving
  • Adaptable learner with curiosity about AI advancements
