Overview

As Team Lead, you will steer administrative project support across architecture and engineering design teams, guiding project lifecycle activities from planning to closeout. You'll coordinate schedules, staffing, and document workflows, while ensuring quality and contract compliance. You'll mentor staff, contribute to recruitment and development, and liaise with stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable insights. This role combines leadership with hands-on project controls to drive successful, on-time delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain project plans and progress tracking; deliver reports to clients and stakeholders
  • Coordinate work planning, staffing, and schedules; manage document review, edits, and approvals
  • Assist in project scheduling, using applicable software, and maintain distribution of schedules
  • Provide technical editing/formatting of project documents (specifications, reports, memos)
  • Assist in drafting/reviewing project scope and fee proposals; review proposals for contract adherence
  • Monitor and file large volumes of project documentation; manage document uploads/downloads to client systems
  • Support financial management tasks: monitor labor, expenses, and budget performance; prepare financial data for reviews
  • Support QA/QC; update project filing structure and QA/QC docs
  • Communicate complex issues to project managers and stakeholders; propose solutions
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to junior staff; participate in recruitment and performance processes
  • Coordinate timecard approvals; assist in setting objectives and providing client feedback
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience, or Associate's degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or 10 years in lieu of education
