Overview

In this role you lead Amazon's construction delivery as the owner's representative across regional projects, from design through handover. You will coordinate with developers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure safe, on time, and on budget delivery of facilities that support the logistics network. You'll manage multiple projects, tackle design and schedule conflicts, and uphold Amazon's building standards while driving stakeholder alignment and value engineering opportunities. This position offers regional travel and potential relocation support, with a focus on delivering world class facilities for customers.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as owner's representative and construction integrator across assigned projects
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects from design phase to handover
  • Review bids, budgets, and schedules; resolve discrepancies
  • Own budget tracking, cashflow forecasting, and cost management
  • Negotiate construction, procurement, and labor contracts
  • Audit contractor performance against project requirements
  • Coordinate permitting and regulatory approvals with AHJs
  • Ensure conformance to Amazon design standards and specs
  • Identify design conflicts, scheduling clashes, and coordination gaps
  • Coach project teams and stakeholders throughout lifecycle
  • Champion safety programs and enforce safety culture
  • Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assess project performance using KPIs for safety, quality, cost, schedule, sustainability
  • Collaborate with facility transition and turnover teams
  • Identify value engineering opportunities with internal partners
  • Seek sustainable, environmentally responsible solutions
Key requirements
  • Bachelor in Architecture
  • 5+ years in Architect, Engineer, Construction Manager or related field
  • 5+ years project management from design through handover
  • 5+ years negotiating construction, procurement, or labor contracts
  • 5+ years proficiency with AutoCAD and/or BIM, and scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project, or similar)
  • Travel up to 60% with valid driver's license
