Overview In this contract-based role, you will oversee site-level HR operations in Rochester, supporting employees and managers while ensuring accurate payroll, compliance, and effective talent processes. You will be the trusted HR partner for policy guidance, employee relations, onboarding, and process improvement in a fast-paced environment. You will drive timely, accurate payroll coordination and support benefits, leave, and audit readiness efforts. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to sustain a compliant, confidential, and continuously improving HR function.
Responsibilities- Administer site payroll activities in partnership with the corporate payroll function to ensure timely and accurate compensation
- Serve as a primary point of contact for workplace policies, benefits, and leave questions with clear guidance
- Manage onboarding across steps, orientation, and preparation for a successful start
- Lead offboarding activities, including exit conversations and departure procedures
- Drive performance management by coordinating annual reviews and mid-year check-ins with managers
- Interpret and apply HR policies locally while supporting compliance with company standards and legal requirements
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation with high accuracy and confidentiality
- Coordinate leave administration and benefits-related activities, including open enrollment communications and payroll validation
- Partner with recruiting to support local staffing needs and related activities
- Review workplace concerns and incidents, recommend actions, and foster a collaborative improvement-minded environment
