Overview As Plant Engineering Manager, you lead end-to-end technical operations at the Louisville plant and drive investment projects from business case to startup. You will align with Ferrero's master plan and the global Engineering organization, balancing maintenance programs with capability-building. You solve complex process and machinery challenges in a high-speed cookies environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and regulatory bodies. This role offers impact in capital projects, process improvements, and strategic site leadership within a renowned food group.
Responsibilities- Act as Engineering Leader for the Louisville Plant, overseeing end-to-end technical processes.
- Design and execute investment projects from business case through startup of lines, equipment, and assets.
- Conduct feasibility studies and plant/machinery engineering using bottom-up/top-down approaches with external regulatory coordination.
- Support CapEx budgeting and PS3 development aligned with Ferrero master plan.
- Develop and execute maintenance objectives and training activities.
- Collaborate with Technical Procurement to build vendor portfolio and manage risk.
- Ensure full integration with the global Ferrero Engineering organization.
Key requirements- 5-10 years of progressive engineering experience in a high-speed cookies environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or related).
- Master's degree in Engineering or Business preferred.
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives.
- Solid technical knowledge of machine and tooling design.
- Practical use of project management principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD (3D), MS Project, PowerPoint, SAP, and BIM.
- Experience with domestic and global regulations, ensuring Ferrero compliance.
