Overview In this role you partner with HR leadership to implement local and regional programs, helping attract, develop, retain, and engage talent across the organization. You will support HRBP-led initiatives, coach leaders on policy, and drive an inclusive culture while ensuring legal compliance and effective talent processes. You'll work on workforce strategy, performance and development programs, and labor relations to sustain business goals. This position offers impact by shaping people practices in a large foodservice distribution environment.
Responsibilities- Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects
- Partner with HRBP to execute core HR processes (performance management, talent management, total rewards, compensation, training and development, transitional return to work, etc.)
- Provide coaching and guidance to leaders and associates regarding HR policies and procedures
- Partner with HRBP to drive an inclusive and diverse culture
- Employee and labor relations (investigations, conflict resolution)
- Support in reviewing, interpreting, administering and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
- Assist in determining training needs and developing programs to improve performance and professional development
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in HR, Org Development
- 5 years of experience in Human Resources management
- Three years in a supervisory position (preferred) or equivalent
- Experience with attorneys, COEs, and senior leadership
- Proficiency in current employee-related laws (ADA, FMLA, Sexual Harassment, Title VII)
