Overview

As an HRBP for the North America Commercial organization, you partner with leaders to align people strategies with business goals, boost organizational effectiveness, and strengthen leadership capability. You will coach leaders on talent management, organizational design, workforce planning, and employee relations, driving performance and risk mitigation. The role blends business acumen with HR expertise to support high-performing teams and strategic initiatives. You will influence decisions, support change, and help build a durable leadership pipeline in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Align people strategies with business objectives for Commercial leaders and provide guidance on talent, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning.
  • Act as trusted advisor to leaders, driving performance through talent decisions and leadership capability development.
  • Guide employee relations matters, including investigations, performance concerns, and policy interpretation while ensuring compliance.
  • Lead talent management processes: reviews, succession planning, leadership assessments, and development planning.
  • Develop and retain high-potential talent through coaching, career planning, and internal mobility initiatives.
  • Analyze workforce metrics (turnover, engagement, retention, staffing, performance) and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Support organizational design, headcount discussions, and workforce planning aligned with business needs.
  • Serve as change agent during organizational changes, restructures, and strategic initiatives to minimize disruption.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to support recruiting strategies and selection decisions for key roles.
  • Facilitate HR-related training and leadership discussions to reinforce priorities and manager effectiveness.
  • Partner with Centers of Excellence and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Provide guidance on compensation, performance management, and talent decisions to ensure consistency and fairness.
  • Use workforce insights to identify risks and influence leadership decisions.
  • Lead or support HR projects focused on organizational effectiveness, talent optimization, and employee experience.
  • Maintain knowledge of employment regulations to ensure compliance
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field; 5+ years of progressive HR generalist experience
  • Commercial or field-based HR support experience preferred
  • Must reside within commutable distance to Brea, CA; full-time on-site
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws (EEO, FMLA, ADA)
  • Experience supporting leaders in fast-paced, performance-driven environments
  • Proven experience handling employee relations with sound judgment and discretion
  • HRIS proficiency preferred
  • Strong communication and coaching skills to influence leaders at all levels
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and identify trends
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Professionalism, organization, and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
