Overview In this role you will lead the design of Quantinuum's Quantum Software Developer Platform, serving as the technical authority on access portals, workflow orchestration, tooling, and security. You will shape cloud-native, multi-region platform architectures and mentor senior engineers to deliver production ready systems. You'll translate business needs into the technical roadmap and drive platform scalability across quantum processors. This is a pivotal role for advancing our developer experience and quantum computing capabilities.

Responsibilities- Own the design and specifications of a high-performance developer platform
- Refine quantum computer access API and web portal architecture for performance, scalability and multi-region operation
- Transform web portal into an application development and delivery framework via a cloud-based hybrid workflow engine
- Define standard interfaces for hosting application components for internal and external developers
- Ensure security and reliability of the platform as it scales
- Deliver customizable cloud-based hybrid applications to end users
- Contribute to technology roadmap by translating business goals into technical requirements and evaluating new technologies
- Mentor senior software engineers and establish best coding practices
Key requirements- 15-20 years in software engineering
- 3-5+ years in a senior architect or lead role within developer platforms
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
