Overview In this role you will drive Carta Law partnerships by identifying, structuring, and growing alliances with law firms, investment banks, and compliance consultants. You'll manage the full partnership lifecycle across global markets, turning advisory relationships into active referral partners and collaborators. You'll work at the intersection of business development, relationship management, and strategic planning to expand Carta Law's distribution and impact. A key hook is helping to scale AI-powered legal services within private markets, enabling greater ownership.
Responsibilities- Identify high-value partnership opportunities and develop strategies to engage law firms, asset managers, and compliance firms
- Negotiate agreements and close partnership deals that drive distribution of Carta Law services
- Manage ongoing partner relationships and governance across multiple stakeholders
- Collaborate with legal delivery, sales, marketing, and operations to maximize client value and ensure scalable growth
- Support cross-border partnerships and coordinate with regional teams in London, Denmark, and the Americas
- Monitor performance metrics and optimize partnership programs for measurable business outcomes
Key requirements- 4+ years in partnerships or account management
- Experience building channels via law firms, asset managers, or professional services (ideally from scratch)
- Strong understanding of the private markets ecosystem (PE, VC, credit, real assets) and related legal/compliance workstreams
- Experience managing senior relationships and navigating multi-stakeholder structures
- Commercially sharp with ability to structure and close deals
- Excellent communicator with experience presenting to partners, General Counsels, and C-suite
- Proactive, self-directed, and capable of building programs from the ground up
- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred)
