Overview In this role you will lead the intake and steering of construction opportunities from RFP through preconstruction and buyout, then hand off to Operations. You'll work closely with Corporate Operations and Estimating to prepare compelling proposals and coordinate all stakeholders. You will assess risk, manage constructability issues, and align schedules and cost models with client expectations. Responsibilities- Coordinate project pursuit and pre-construction deliverables with Corporate, Operations leadership, and Estimating
- Review project docs for quality, content, and constructability
- Identify required deliverables and assign ownership
- Manage pursuit timeline to ensure timely, high-quality client submissions
- Collaborate with corporate marketing for proposal documents
- Maintain client relationships during pursuit to support success
- Assess and discuss potential risk factors with management
- Coordinate constructability resolutions and pricing of design alternatives
- Develop preliminary construction schedules in line with estimates
- Review cost models during pre-construction and bidding
- Assist with contract documents
- Consult with operations, scheduling, estimating, legal, cost control, and procurement
- Monitor design progress for cost, schedule, and quality compliance and resolve constructability issues
Key requirements- Degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field desired
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction
- Experience in Preconstruction, Estimating, and Operations preferred
- Estimating and scheduling experience desirable
- Experience with computer-based estimating systems desirable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to solve problems to avoid conflicts
