Overview In this role you will drive pre-construction program execution for Amazon's nationwide data center campuses. You will coordinate between Real Estate, Design Engineering, Due Diligence, and other partners to forecast schedules, manage budgets, and ensure constructability. You'll review critical scopes, guide site and design decisions, and oversee bids and contracting during the design phase. This position offers impact across multiple campuses, shaping how we deliver resilient, scalable data center infrastructure. You will work with cross-functional teams to enable timely, cost-effective project delivery and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities- Conduct constructability reviews of data center construction scopes and drive baseline improvements
- Perform build phasing evaluations across civil, structural, and electrical domains for potential sites
- Define site requirements impacting schedule, cost, and delivery, ensuring integration with neighboring properties
- Negotiate with land sellers, developers, and general contractors; evaluate bids, proposals, and scoping documents
- Manage GC and third-party vendors during design-phase preconstruction services
- Define construction scopes and prepare RFPs for General Contractors; review bid summaries and schedules
- Support issuing contracting documents (Work Orders, Purchase Orders, Work Letters)
- Develop handoff documentation for Construction Manager partners
- Collect and share lessons learned to drive program-wide continuous improvement
- Travel up to 25%
Key requirements- 5+ years of construction or project management experience
- Experience managing and negotiating contracts and vendor relationships
- Experience reading and interpreting construction specifications and drawings across domains
