Commercial Lines Sr. Casualty Consultant

In this role you will provide expert financial and risk-analysis support to Commercial Lines Account Management and Sales teams, guiding underwriting, pricing, and placement decisions. You will mentor the Casualty Analytics team, influence department policies, and collaborate with claims and risk control to develop loss-control strategies. You'll translate client needs into data-driven proposals and negotiate terms with carriers to optimize client outcomes. • Guide and develop the Casualty Analytics team; drive improvements
• Assess clients' contractual liabilities and align with policies
• Create client-facing summaries and model policy options
• Support Sales Executives with data and proposals for prospects
• Model risk profiles using analytical tools and resources
• Negotiate underwriting terms and pricing with carriers
• Collaborate with claims and risk control to develop loss-control ideas
• Participate in recruiting and train new hires
• Influence department policies at national and local levels

• 3-5 years in a Commercial Lines agency with underwriting and technical experience
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
• Property & Casualty license or willingness to obtain
• Industry designations such as ARM, CIC, CPCU preferred
• Deep, technical knowledge of commercial insurance
• Strong business, negotiation, and data interpretation skills
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Comfort with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Sagitta / ImageRight preferred, but not required
