Overview As an Immunology Medical Science Liaison, you will support AstraZeneca's lupus program and other immunology assets by delivering credible medical and scientific information to healthcare professionals and researchers. You will engage with experts, identify investigators, and share data-driven insights to optimize product use and scientific understanding. You will travel regionally and nationally to present clinical data and respond to inquiries, helping to shape patient-focused initiatives. Responsibilities- Engage with medical and scientific experts to exchange knowledge
- Identify and cultivate investigators for pre-clinical, clinical, and post-marketing studies
- Provide actionable information to internal teams to support product value and appropriate use
- Respond to inquiries with balanced clinical/scientific content and deliver data presentations regionally and nationally
Key requirements- Advanced Clinical/Science Degree (e.g., MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, NP, PA)
- At least 2 years of Medical Science Liaison experience
- Knowledge of customer segments and market dynamics
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel 50-70%
- Reside in the territory (Virginia, Kentucky, Washington DC)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
