Overview In this role you will operate and improve mission-critical IT environments hosting secure government capabilities. You will collaborate with developers, cybersecurity staff, and hosting providers to keep systems available, secure, and scalable. You'll analyze performance trends to drive long-term improvements and document architectures for continuity. This is a hands-on position that supports DoD-related workloads and mission success.

Responsibilities- Manage servers, environments, and configurations; monitor, patch, troubleshoot, and tune performance
- Support deployment of application updates; maintain dev/test/prod environments
- Evaluate infrastructure health and recommend improvements for performance, reliability, and capacity
- Collaborate with developers, cybersecurity staff, hosting providers, and system administrators to resolve issues
- Analyze performance metrics and incident trends to identify root causes and long-term solutions
- Document system architectures, configurations, procedures, interfaces, and dependencies
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in IT, engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 4-8+ years of experience administering enterprise IT environments (servers, storage, networks, virtualization, or cloud)
- Ability to troubleshoot performance and availability issues in multi-tier applications
- Familiarity with structured change and configuration management practices
- Secret clearance and ability to maintain this throughout employment
