Building Engineering Services Regional Business Group Director - North Central

In this role you will lead HDR's Building Engineering Services in the NorthCentral region, shaping regional strategy and growth across about five states. You'll drive P&L, lead cross-functional teams, and collaborate with market and operations leadership to execute on regional goals. You'll mentor managers, manage staffing and risk, and oversee quality and delivery across projects. This is a chance to influence the built environment while advancing HDR's employee-owned, inclusive culture and project impact.

• Develop and implement regional BES program and growth strategies
• Lead regional initiatives with Market Sector and Business Group leadership
• Collaborate with Directors and Area Managers to drive regional BG strategies
• Drive BES P&L performance and regional initiatives
• Participate in senior leadership meetings and MOA governance
• Mentor Area Business Group Managers on staffing, forecasts, and workshare
• Review risk management plans and participate in quality and risk reviews
• Support recruiting and prioritization of regional strategic hires
• Align staffing with backlog and participate in annual planning and budgeting
• Act as regional interface with Operations and ensure adherence to company values

• Bachelor in Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field
• 12+ years of experience in related field
• Demonstrated experience leading diverse teams
• Strong business and client development skills
• Ability to travel frequently and reside in or relocate to the South Central region
