Overview In this role you support large-scale construction safety efforts, partnering with a team of EHS professionals to strengthen programs and promote safe practices. You will lead field activities, audits, and data analysis to identify trends and drive improvements. You'll educate stakeholders, develop training materials, and guide incident investigations to prevent recurrence. Responsibilities- Support large-scale construction projects by coordinating meetings, site walks, and ensuring contract requirements
- Conduct construction safety field audits and data collection across platforms (e.g., Predictive Solutions, Construct Secure)
- Analyze health and safety data to identify negative and positive trends
- Educate stakeholders on EHS requirements and best practices
- Collect data, generate reports, and communicate field trends to stakeholders
- Observe onsite practices and develop solutions to enhance employee health and wellness
- Coach craft workers on OSHA/client requirements
- Deliver technical training and lead meetings with client and trade partner EHS professionals
- Develop training programs and slide decks for construction EHS topics
- Lead EHS representative meetings and collaborate with the broader EHS team
- Lead incident investigations to drive improvements and safer practices
- Demonstrate willingness to learn and take initiative; be a self-starter
Key requirements- Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience (7 years if no degree)
- Bachelor's degree (environmental science, occupational health and safety, biology, chemistry, engineering, or related field strongly preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and ability to apply regulations in dynamic construction environments
- Solutions-oriented mindset with risk assessment and corrective action implementation experience
- Commitment to professional growth with relevant certifications or training
- Willingness to pursue advanced safety certifications (e.g., STSC, CHST, CSP)
