Overview In this role you lead on-site laboratory operations for daily testing in a fast-paced food-and-beverage environment. You ensure timely analyses, quality and safety compliance, and clear communication with the North America Laboratory Senior Manager. You will support ISO 17025 adherence, audits, and CAPA initiatives while fostering a safe, engaged team. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position within Coca Cola's North America Laboratory ecosystem.

Responsibilities- Coordinate day-to-day laboratory activities to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant analytical testing
- Assign and balance workloads among technicians to meet business needs
- Monitor turnaround times, backlog, and resource utilization; escalate risks to the Laboratory Senior Manager
- Ensure adherence to ISO 17025 and other quality standards; support audits
- Maintain proper documentation, data integrity, sample traceability, and record retention
- Support investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA implementation
- Provide on-site leadership to technicians; support onboarding and competency assessments
- Promote psychological safety, continuous improvement, and quality excellence
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and site functions to resolve issues
- Support laboratory transformation and digitalization initiatives (LIMS, electronic docs)
- Oversee equipment maintenance, calibration, inventory, and facilities housekeeping
Key requirements- Minimum 5+ years in a laboratory environment with progressive responsibility
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or related discipline
- Proficiency in analytical testing methods for chemical, physical, microbiological, and sensory analyses
- Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
- Working knowledge of ISO 17025, GMP, and GLP requirements
- Familiarity with CAPA, nonconforming materials management, and root cause analysis
- Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to manage multi-shift operations
- Preference for experience with S4Hana
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
