Overview In this role you will develop and scale innovative process solutions for ion exchange resins, enabling new product introductions while boosting efficiency and sustainability across manufacturing. You will work with cross-functional teams of researchers, engineers, and production staff to translate discoveries into commercial impact. You'll lead projects, design experiments, and mentor junior team members in a globally respected water technology setting. Responsibilities- Develop, synthesize, and functionalize polymer materials for new products and processes
- Apply ion exchange resin technology to address processing and purification challenges
- Design and execute experiments to characterize polymer systems and translate results into recommendations
- Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and manufacturing partners to meet project goals
- Lead research projects and supervise laboratory technicians and junior staff
- Analyze data and present conclusions and recommendations to stakeholders and management
- Manage laboratory operations, including equipment ownership, documentation, and safety compliance
- Champion safety culture and continuously improve safe work practices
Key requirements- Ph.D. in relevant discipline or near completion
- Up to 4 years of relevant industrial experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a project-driven environment
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated initiative and intellectual curiosity
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
