Overview

In this role you design and lead MuleSoft architectures that translate complex business needs into scalable integration solutions. You will work with clients and cross-functional teams to define API-led connectivity, ensure security and governance, and deliver reusable assets. You help shape architecture standards and mentor delivery teams while leveraging AI tools to improve analysis and documentation. Responsibilities
  • Lead MuleSoft solution design and align architectures with business outcomes and security requirements
  • Translate business and technical requirements into API-led designs using API, System, Process, and Experience API patterns
  • Recommend scalable patterns, assets, environment strategies, and delivery best practices
  • Advise stakeholders and teams through requirements, design, build, test, deploy, and support
  • Guide implementation teams, review deliverables, and mentor engineers
  • Support solutioning, scoping, estimates, resource planning, deployments, and knowledge transfer
  • Leverage AI/GenAI for architecture docs and solution analysis while ensuring quality, security, and maintainability
  • Travel as required (0-100% depending on client needs)
Key requirements
  • 7+ years translating requirements into architectures and leading design/code reviews
  • 7+ years in client-facing advisory and communication
  • 5+ years in integration architecture with connectivity (JDBC, SOAP, REST, HTTP/HTTPS, JMS, File-Based)
  • 4+ years hands-on MuleSoft experience as developer or architect
  • MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect or ability to obtain within 90 days
  • 3+ years MuleSoft architecture, API design, connectors, patterns, and build components
  • 3+ years Anypoint Platform (API Manager, Runtime Manager, Anypoint Analytics, Design Center, Exchange)
  • 6+ months experience with AI/GenAI tools for productivity and document prompts
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (12 years)
