Overview

Senior Legal Counsel within NiCE's Americas Legal team, focusing on high-value commercial and technology transactions to grow the CXone Mpower platform. You will partner with sales, product, finance, security, and privacy teams to navigate cloud, data protection, and regulatory issues, delivering practical guidance. You'll shape scalable contracting processes and playbooks to support rapid growth. This hybrid role blends advisory impact with process improvements in a global, AI-driven CX organization. You will be a trusted legal partner enabling strategic growth and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Structure, negotiate, and manage complex enterprise cloud transactions across sales, product, and procurement
  • Advise on U.S. and international SaaS, data protection, cybersecurity, and contracting issues
  • Develop and improve legal playbooks, templates, and contracting processes
  • Collaborate with legal and cross-functional stakeholders to align legal strategy with business priorities
  • Monitor regulatory changes and advise on risk mitigation and compliance
  • Educate internal teams on legal, compliance, and contracting practices
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Support initiatives that advance NiCE's global growth and innovation
  • Negotiate and advise on inbound procurement, vendor, marketing, and enterprise purchasing agreements
  • Handle additional legal projects as needed
Key requirements
  • Juris Doctor with active license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • 8-10 years of SaaS, cloud, and enterprise software transactions experience (vendor side)
  • Experience drafting and negotiating complex SaaS and technology agreements, including DPA and BAA where applicable
  • Strong knowledge of data privacy, cybersecurity, and IP law (U.S. and international)
  • In-house legal experience supporting a commercial or technology-driven business
  • Excellent negotiation and drafting abilities
