Project Manager - Data Center Construction

Overview

In this role you will lead a project team on a ground-up data center build in Dallas, ensuring work aligns with client standards and schedule. You'll coordinate tasks, manage budgets and reports, and maintain strong client relationships to deliver objectives. The position sits within a growth-focused, high-impact consultancy environment where successful delivery supports repeat business and references. You work across cross-functional teams to drive timely, quality outcomes that meet strategic goals.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a project team on large programs or multiple projects
  • Define the technical scope of the project
  • Coordinate, administer, and communicate project tasks to enable repeat business and favorable references
  • Review cost estimates
  • Manage project-level conflict resolution
  • Maintain monthly project budgets and forecast expenditures
  • Facilitate client communications and provide regular reports (monthly/weekly/daily)
  • Achieve client objectives by effectively managing project goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Attend normal business hours
Key requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in Project Management, engineering, or construction management
  • BS in Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field
  • Experience in managing and monitoring team activity aligned with organizational goals
  • Ability to delegate with clear instructions and provide ongoing feedback
  • Strong metrics monitoring, course-correcting, and accountability
  • Experience providing feedback to senior leaders and communicating organizational direction
  • Ability to build relationships with peers, direct reports, and senior leaders
  • Ability to create development opportunities for direct reports and teams
  • Independent management of projects with creativity and resourcefulness in compressed timeframes
  • Excellent written and oral communication, active listening
  • Preferred certifications: CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEED
