Overview In this role you will oversee construction contracts across transportation, water, and facilities projects, ensuring adherence to approved plans and specifications. You will supervise field observation, testing, and quality control, while guiding the project team and coordinating with owners, contractors, and design staff. You will manage changes, RFIs, submittals, payments, and meetings, driving timely, compliant delivery. This is a chance to impact critical infrastructure within a collaborative, values-driven firm.

Responsibilities- Supervise observation and inspection of ongoing construction, including material sampling and testing
- Review contractor work for plan/spec compliance and clarify documents
- Oversee Change/Field orders, schedule updates, submittals, RFIs, claims, pay requests, meetings, and closeout
- Communicate non-conforming work and facilitate construction meetings (minutes)
- Correspond with client, contractors, and staff; read plans/specs to ensure alignment
- Collaborate with design teams to respond to RFIs and submittals; communicate owner needs
- Support design phase processes as assigned
- Direct staff management including hiring/firing, performance reviews, and development
- Lead pre-bid and pre-construction conferences; contribute to sales and business development efforts
Key requirements- 10+ years in construction management or superintendent roles
- Bachelor in related field; equivalent experience acceptable
- Proficient with project management information systems (e.g., e-Builder, Buzzsaw, FNI Manager, Site Manager) and MS Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of Alternate Project Delivery Methods
- Preferred: P.E., CCM, CCCA certifications
