Responsibilities- Direct division land acquisition activities and execution
- Establish acquisition strategies, objectives, and growth plans
- Lead, develop, and evaluate acquisition personnel to meet objectives
- Review and approve acquisition recommendations, analyses, and structures
- Negotiate strategic transactions and partnerships for long-term growth
- Monitor acquisition pipelines, budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics
- Collaborate with executive leadership on market expansion and priorities
- Ensure compliance with policies and risk management
- Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities
- Conduct business ethically to enhance goodwill and profitability
Key requirements- Ten+ years in progressive land acquisition, real estate, development, or homebuilding experience
- 5+ years of people management experience
- Strong understanding of multi-market acquisition strategy and leadership principles
- Proven ability to build high-performing teams that deliver results
- Ability to align acquisition strategy with business objectives
- Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office; quick learner of new programs/systems
- Ability to sit for extended periods and perform required physical activities as described
