Overview In this role you lead and execute Model Informed Drug Development strategies within Translational Quantitative Pharmacology. You build quantitative systems pharmacology models to guide compound progression across immunology and oncology programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external CROs. You will communicate complex modeling insights to diverse stakeholders and develop toolboxes to enable data-driven decisions. Responsibilities- Develop QSP models informing progression decisions from lead optimization to clinical proof of concept
- Independently perform human PK and quantitative DDI predictions and translational PK/PD analyses
- quantify toxicological signals to assess therapeutic index and guide project decisions
- Explain model-based analyses clearly to team members from diverse backgrounds
- Develop and implement innovative modeling platforms to ensure correct dosing for patients
- Represent QP in cross-functional teams and present outcomes at meetings and conferences
- Contribute to internal and external documents (e.g., Investigator's Brochure, IND, CTD) and program strategy
- Mentor and educate colleagues in modeling concepts and approaches
Key requirements- PhD in relevant field
- minimum 5 years in industry and/or academia applying modeling and simulation to biological problems
- willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally
