Overview

In this role you will manage and execute the legal strategy for Legends Global, supporting multiple business lines such as hospitality, venue management, and merchandising. You'll partner with internal teams to address contracts, IP, and regulatory matters, enabling strategic transactions and partnerships. You will draft, negotiate, and review agreements, and provide practical legal guidance to enable growth. This position offers exposure to a global live-entertainment leader and a collaborative, fast-paced environment where accuracy and business-minded counsel matter.

Responsibilities
  • Administer overall legal strategy and governance
  • Provide proactive legal solutions to stakeholders across lines of business
  • Support senior legal staff on special projects, licensing, and other matters
  • Assist with due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic transactions
  • Draft, negotiate, analyze, and oversee hospitality, venue, merchandise, sponsorship, and sales/marketing agreements
  • Prepare and negotiate location, subcontractor, licensing, independent contractor, temp staffing, and services agreements
  • Manage vendor/supplier relationships and procurement agreements at venue level
  • Advise on IP matters including trademark usage, IP licensing, and brand protection in licensing/sponsorship/white-label arrangements
  • Efficiently manage department workflow and research regulatory issues with concise memos and recommendations
  • Draft and revise company policies as needed
  • Assist with licensing and local statutory requirements
  • Supervise and develop team members, including hiring, training, and performance management
Key requirements
  • J.D. from an accredited law school; licensed to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • 4-6 years of experience as a practicing attorney, ideally with transactional and in-house experience
  • Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements in hospitality, venue management, sponsorship, merchandise, licensing, and related contracts
  • Familiarity with intellectual property concepts, including trademark protection and IP licensing; franchise/licensing experience preferred
  • Effective communication across corporate departments and venues
  • Strong judgment and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to translate complex legal issues for business audiences
  • Contract drafting, negotiation, and analysis
  • Legal research and memo writing
  • IP licensing and trademark management
