Overview

In this role you provide high-level leadership for multiple construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You'll partner with clients and internal stakeholders to meet contractual and performance objectives while guiding planning, resources, and team development. You will drive continuous improvement, risk management, and adoption of innovative construction practices to maximize efficiency and client satisfaction. Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and staff development to achieve performance goals
  • Direct and coach project managers and support staff; share technical expertise
  • Oversee staffing levels and conduct performance management conversations
  • Develop strategic plans for construction project management and implement them
  • Lead pre-job planning activities (MISOP, pull planning, scheduling, value mapping, constraints logs)
  • Set project budgets, monitor variances, and apply LEAN techniques to optimize operations
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Maintain strong relationships with external partners, customers, vendors; manage contract review and negotiations
  • Resolve issues with customers, vendors, trades, and partners; support Account Management Program to foster growth
  • Ensure adherence to safe, high-quality construction processes; drive productivity
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
  • PMP, PgMP or industry-specific credential preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent leadership, people management, communication and influencing skills
  • Working knowledge of optimization techniques and process improvement
  • Ability to translate business strategy into day-to-day delivery
  • Experience leading projects/programs on-schedule and within budget
