Overview In this role you manage capital projects across a large studio campus, from concept through closeout, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with Studio Operations goals. You will serve as the Owner's representative, coordinating designers, contractors, and vendors while balancing budgets and schedules. Responsibilities- Oversee multiple capital projects from small remodels to large-scale new construction and infrastructure upgrades
- Lead all project phases: programming, feasibility, budgeting, design, permitting, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout
- Act as Owner's representative and primary project contact
- Collaborate with Facilities & Plant Operations to minimize operational disruptions during construction
- Define scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants through design and construction
- Lead design reviews ensuring compliance with standards and codes
- Review and approve drawings, specs, cost estimates, and deliverables
- Manage value engineering while preserving quality and objectives
- Oversee GC, subs, CM, and specialty vendors including in-house Fox Trades
- Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay apps, and documentation
- Develop and monitor project budgets and costs throughout all phases
- Facilitate decision-making among diverse stakeholders
Key requirements- 10+ years of project management experience in commercial construction, facilities/campus development, or related fields
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently from concept to completion
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and attention to detail
- Working knowledge of architecture, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, and utility systems
- Knowledge of California building codes, permitting, accessibility, and life safety
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, contracts, and technical docs
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
