Overview As Principal Enterprise Data & AI Information Architect, you will shape Xperi's enterprise data foundation and semantic framework. You'll define canonical models, metadata strategy, and AI-ready data structures to enable trusted decisions and AI-enabled operations. You'll partner with executives to align data architecture with business goals, guiding cross-functional teams while standards-setter across data platforms. This strategic, highly visible role offers impact across Finance, Sales, Operations, Product, HR, Legal and Engineering.

Responsibilities- Define and evolve the enterprise data architecture roadmap
- Drive long-term data strategy for analytics, automation, AI, and digital transformation
- Create and maintain enterprise canonical data models and standard business definitions
- Design the enterprise semantic layer and ontology to ensure consistent interpretation across systems
- Architect data structures optimized for AI platforms and enterprise search
- Define reusable data products and data contracts; govern metadata and APIs
- Establish architecture governance including data modeling, lineage, quality, and semantic standards
- Collaborate with Security, Compliance, Governance, and Enterprise Applications teams
- Influence cross-functional teams to adopt enterprise standards and resolve conflicting definitions
- Serve as trusted advisor to senior leadership on enterprise data strategy
Key requirements- 12+ years in Enterprise Data Architecture, Information Architecture, or Data Platform Leadership
- Deep expertise in data modeling, master data architecture, semantic layers, metadata management, API-centric architectures
- Experience across complex SaaS ecosystems and modern cloud data architectures
- Experience supporting AI, ML, copilots, or agentic AI initiatives
- Exceptional executive communication and influence skills
