Fundraising Database Associate

In this temporary role, you will maintain and improve our donor CRM to ensure accurate records and timely processing of gifts. You will support donors through inquiries and acknowledgments while handling sensitive information in a fast-paced office. Located in our New York office, the position runs Oct 2026 through Jan 2027, offering hands-on experience in fundraising operations and data stewardship. You will work closely with the fundraising team to enable effective donor stewardship and impact.

• Master multi-step processes for uploading donor and donation data (manual and automated)
• Process credit card donations securely received by mail or phone
• Sort, scan, and route checks to external vendors
• Provide fast, accurate donor support via phone, email, and mail
• Prepare donor acknowledgment letters
• Maintain integrity and accuracy of Everytown's donor database

• Proficiency with Google Suite
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational/time management/problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Professional administrative or operations experience
• Previous customer service experience
• Previous experience with donor database systems
• Ability to discreetly handle confidential donor information
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, open-plan office 3 days a week
• Ability to rapidly shift between multiple projects and priorities
