Overview

As Lab Manager, you will oversee physical and virtual testing environments (CTF, EDTE, etc.) and act within a cross-functional team to evaluate and develop innovative products. You'll coordinate agile projects, business analysis, and technical/data analysis around lab initiatives, while handling logistics and collaboration with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders. You'll track resources, schedules, risks, and changes to ensure timely test activities, and manage security, access, and vendor contracts to support lab objectives. This role combines hands-on lab operations with vendor management and security governance to enable rapid, successful evaluations and pilots.

Responsibilities
  • Own and manage physical and virtual testing environments (CTF, EDTE, etc.)
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams to evaluate and develop innovations
  • Lead agile project management, business analysis, and technical/data analysis for innovation efforts
  • Coordinate logistics for lab/test activities and act as main liaison with stakeholders
  • Track resources, schedules, issues, risks, and changes to ensure on-time test operations
  • Assist in ordering hardware/software and coordinating installations
  • Manage lab security and access, ensuring privacy and policy compliance
  • Vet and manage vendors; coordinate NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, contracts
  • Coordinate purchase orders and SOWs to ensure delivery and payment timelines
  • Maintain documentation of tickets and CMDB entries
  • Utilize STIGs and system hardening processes; perform re-scans and vulnerability reporting
Key requirements
  • US citizenship
  • Bachelor in a technology-related discipline (or related) with substitutions: 2 years of experience per year of degree
  • Minimum 8 years in technical management/lead roles or 12+ years in technical analysis/related work
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and related Microsoft tools
  • Expert experience with testing, scanning, and vulnerability assessment software (e.g., Tenable Nessus Pro, Cenzic)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience managing a team and delivering on schedule
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business conditions
