Overview In this role you will manage and optimize the operations and maintenance of building systems, interfaces with clients, and guide the maintenance team to ensure safety and reliability. You'll work under the Senior Facility Manager to deliver top-tier service and drive cost-efficient improvements. The position blends strategic direction with hands-on oversight of Life Safety, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and related systems. This is a client-facing role with a strong focus on operational excellence and proactive facilities management.

Responsibilities- Manage operations and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, structural, and life-safety systems
- Provide strategic guidance to the maintenance team
- Ensure compliance with JLL and client safety procedures
- Understand and optimize building systems design and operation
- Promote proactive inspection and preventative maintenance
- Oversee Life Safety, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and building systems
- Evaluate and improve preventive maintenance scheduling and CMMS usage
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining uptime
- Develop client relationships through clear communication
- Assist in budgeting, payables, and service contract negotiation
- Coordinate with Facility Manager on construction activities and capital projects
- Monitor SLA gaps and drive process innovation
- Ensure site compliance with codes and SOPs
- Review maintenance metrics and capital projects performance
Key requirements- BA/BS in Engineering or equivalent facilities experience
- 6+ years of technical experience in building engineering with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and system design
- Extensive knowledge of building systems; CMMS, BMS, and controls
- Client service-oriented attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Advanced computer and office software skills
- Capability to review and manage budgets and financials
- Experience with service contracts and vendor relations
- Familiarity with GMP, FDA regulations, ISO standards (preferred)
