Overview In this role you drive the successful execution of EPC/construction projects from pre-construction through completion. You work closely with cross-functional teams to manage safety, quality, schedule, cost, and client relations, ensuring compliance and timely project delivery. You will lead planning, staffing, risk reviews, and contract administration, shaping project outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction. This position offers scope to influence safety culture, process improvements, and project performance across multiple sites.
Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day construction activities and ensure successful execution of one or more projects
- Lead planning, scheduling, cost development, and objective setting
- Manage client relationships, proposals, and project-related items
- Negotiate prime/subcontracts and change orders; participate in risk reviews
- Implement project execution plans including safety, QA, subcontracting, staffing, and procurement plans
- Coordinate multi-discipline teams and optimize staff utilization
- Ensure permits, insurances, licenses, and bonding are in place
- Oversee RFP/bid processes, scope of work documents, and subcontractor evaluations
- Monitor reporting on budgeting, cash flow, and project status; present to management
- Collaborate with engineering on deliverables and manage contract administration (RFIs, submittals, changes, closeout)
- Oversee invoicing, commissioning, startup, turnover, and warranty processes
- Mentor staff, provide performance feedback, and manage labor and craft classifications
- Maintain equipment, inventory, and field progress tracking; ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Support government/industry/public communications on project matters
- Ensure documentation, retention, and recordkeeping practices are followed
- Drive risk management, change management, and cost metrics across projects
- Travel as required; uphold company policies and procedures
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering or related field; 7+ years of relevant construction PM experience
- Excellent MS Office skills; experience with document control, scheduling, cost control, and project management software preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle high-volume, multi-task work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience across aviation, commercial, energy, government, manufacturing, oil & gas, process, transportation, or water sectors preferred
