Overview In this role you will design and deliver AWS-based big data and analytics solutions, guiding clients through secure, scalable cloud architectures. You'll collaborate with customers and data engineers to implement end-to-end data pipelines on AWS, and actively contribute hands-on to solution delivery. You will evangelize data cloud solutions, address migration considerations, and work with stakeholders to align architecture with business goals. This is a hands-on, client-facing position with a focus on impactful data architecture in a consulting context.
Responsibilities- Evangelize cloud data solutions with customers
- Lead stakeholders through designing robust, secure AWS architectures
- Hands-on delivery of target data solutions on AWS
- Collaborate with customers and data engineers to implement big data solutions on the cloud
- Implement data migration and data processing using AWS services
- Consider migration implications and cloud pros/cons in architecture planning
Key requirements- 5+ years in AWS consulting or client service delivery
- 10+ years in big data, database, and data warehouse architecture and delivery
- Experience in at least two of: cloud solution/technical architecture, cloud-based big data/analytics/database management, or cloud IoT/event-driven/microservices
- Experience with private and public cloud architectures and migration considerations
- AWS Solutions Architect - Associate certification
