Overview In this role, you will lead and grow Woolpert's CE&I services in Indiana, combining client development with high-quality construction delivery. You'll manage CE&I assignments, build partnerships with INDOT and local agencies, and drive expansion across markets. You will mentor a CE&I team while upholding project standards and risk management. Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with INDOT districts, LPAs, and municipal clients
- Identify, pursue, and win CE&I and construction services opportunities
- Lead proposal development, interviews, and contract negotiations
- Establish and grow teaming relationships with larger design firms
- Support expansion of services across transportation, aviation, water, and energy markets
- Serve as Construction Manager/Project Manager on CE&I assignments
- Manage construction inspection services including materials testing, pay estimates, change orders, and records
- Ensure delivery aligned with INDOT standards and client expectations
- Coordinate with contractors, owners, and stakeholders to manage risk and resolve issues
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting (e.g., SiteManager)
- Recruit, mentor, and manage construction staff; build a high-performing CE&I team in Indiana
- Promote accountability, adaptability, and continuous improvement
- Support resource planning and staffing across projects
Key requirements- 10+ years of experience in construction management, CE&I, or construction inspection
- Demonstrated experience with INDOT and/or Indiana LPAs
- Proven ability to develop client relationships and win work
- Strong understanding of roadway, bridge, and/or public infrastructure construction
- Experience managing construction documentation, materials records, and pay estimates
