Overview In this Senior Project Manager role, you lead multiple design and construction projects for Owners in Alaska, guiding them from preconstruction through warranty. You'll oversee budgets, schedules, vendor selections, and design progress, while building strong client relationships. Travel across the state and on-site oversight are part of the role, contributing to Arcadis' mission of sustainable, high-quality infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver safe, on-time projects that meet Owner needs and financial targets.

Responsibilities- Manage multiple design and construction projects for Owners across various project types (new builds, renovations, tenant improvements, utilities)
- Prepare and manage solicitations and vendor/supplier selections including GC involvement
- Oversee design process to meet Owner needs within budget and schedule; facilitate design meetings and value engineering
- Lead pre-construction and site meetings; monitor progress, process ASIs/RFIs, review pay apps, negotiate change orders, and close-out activities
- Provide on-site QA to ensure construction aligns with design/specifications; monitor schedule and budget; manage risk and document control
- Produce monthly status reports and establish cost baselines; forecast program trends and support informed decisions
- Foster positive team relationships and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and access requirements for projects (including U.S. Military Installations)
- Support project close-out activities and ensure successful project delivery
Key requirements- 9+ years of Senior Project Manager experience in construction in an Owner Representative role
- Experience on projects in Alaska and ability to oversee multiple projects statewide
- Professional accreditation in Construction Management, Certified Construction Administrator, or Certified Construction Manager (or related equivalent)
- Strong technical skills with project management software
- Ability to obtain access to U.S. Military Installations
