Overview

As a Senior PLM/CM Administrator, you will be the hands-on technical expert and primary owner of the Siemens Teamcenter PLM platform, ensuring stability, configuration, and advanced support. You'll lead system improvements, data governance, and complex business processes while mentoring junior staff. The role blends engineering, manufacturing, and IT collaboration to sustain secure, efficient product lifecycles in a space-focused environment. You will drive upgrades, integrations, and standardization to enable cross-functional teams to deliver critical space programs.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary technical owner for Teamcenter administration, CAD and configuration
  • Configure and maintain items, revisions, BOMs, datasets, lifecycles, workflows, and access controls; manage standard parts libraries, documents, and drawings
  • Oversee ECR/ECO/ECN processes and release workflows
  • Ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance across product structures and lifecycle states
  • Define and enforce PLM standards, best practices, and data models
  • Provide advanced issue resolution and root-cause analysis for PLM problems
  • Support and troubleshoot CAD integrations (NX, Solid Edge, CATIA, Creo)
  • Coordinate with Siemens GTAC or external partners for issue resolution
  • Lead testing, validation, and deployment for Teamcenter upgrades and enhancements
  • Drive PLM improvement initiatives, module adoption, and process optimization; collaborate with IT on ERP integrations
  • Mentor junior PLM administrators; guide program, engineering and manufacturing stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, training materials, and SOPs
Key requirements
  • 7-10 years of experience in PLM administration or configuration management
  • Strong expertise in PLM concepts, BOM management, and change control
  • Experience with Teamcenter configuration tools (BMIDE, preferences, workflows)
  • Proven ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues
  • Strong time management and delegation skills with multiple concurrent tasks
