Overview In this role, you will support DLA Piper's Investment Funds Group by advising on fund formation and related real estate transactions. You will draft and negotiate fund documents and investor letters, as well as purchase, sale, leasing, financing, and joint venture agreements. Secondaries experience is a plus, and you will collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality work. The position offers hybrid work options and opportunities across multiple offices.

Responsibilities- Draft and negotiate fund organizational documents and investor side letters
- Draft and negotiate real estate transaction documents (purchase, sale, leasing, financing, joint ventures)
- Contribute to secondaries transactions when applicable
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues; produce high-quality work
- Meet deadlines and manage competing priorities; maintain confidentiality as required
Key requirements- 3-6 years of experience in fund formation, commercial real estate, real estate finance, and/or joint ventures
- Direct AmLaw 100 law firm experience preferred
- JD and admitted to practice in the state of office
- Strong analytical and writing skills; attention to detail; good business judgment
