Overview In this full-time role, you support MDAD's Tenant Airport Construction Program by assisting Project Managers with administrative and field tasks. You will help ensure conformance to plans and specifications, coordinate quality controls, and track deliverables. You'll work closely with engineers and field staff, applying basic math and document control to keep projects on track. This is an opportunity to contribute to major airport infrastructure efforts and gain exposure to digital construction tools.
Responsibilities- Prepare meeting agendas and minutes; manage tracking logs for RFIs, submittals, pay estimates, and other deliverables
- Assist with construction field tasks to ensure conformance with plans and contract documents
- Coordinate and schedule quality control inspections
- Oversee on-site material testing and coordinate testing/monitoring services
- Calculate material pay quantities and handle related math tasks
- Review shop drawings for compliance with plans and specifications
- Read construction drawings and identify discrepancies; review contractor daily reports for accuracy
- Document project progress with photos/videos and prepare progress reports
- Liaise with the Resident Engineer and act as a liaison with the engineer of record
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry tech/tools used in inspection; use GPS/Rovers to improve efficiency
- Perform other duties as assigned
