Overview In this role you lead transit project delivery, guiding design, construction and testing of railway systems. You will coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to hit milestones while upholding safety and quality. You'll work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time handover of fully functional transit solutions. This position combines technical depth in traction power, train control, and communications with strong leadership to drive complex projects in a high-stakes environment. Responsibilities- Manage transit project execution across design, construction, and testing of traction power, train control, and communications systems
- Coordinate engineering teams to ensure milestones, quality, safety, and efficiency
- Oversee task/resource management to prepare for installation and address issues proactively
- Provide leadership during construction and installation to align with schedules, budgets, and specs
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, clients, and internal teams to ensure successful delivery
- Oversee system testing, commissioning, and final handover to meet operational requirements
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required)
- 7-10 years of transit project management experience
- Transit experience with traction power, train control, and communications systems
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams through design, construction, and testing
- Strong experience in rail system infrastructure construction and installation
- Excellent project management, multitasking, and deadline management
