Overview In this role you will be the gatekeeper of master data in Workday, ensuring data integrity across HR initiatives. You will maintain and optimize HRIS modules, run audits, develop reports, and support end-users and partners. You'll lead testing and upgrades, train managers and employees, and align Workday design with OCLC's strategic HR goals. This is a hands-on, data-driven role within a mission-driven, cross-functional team.

Responsibilities- Manage master data and system design in Workday for HR initiatives
- Develop ad hoc and standard reports to support data requests and improve data integrity
- Audit data and validate feeds across HR and related systems
- Test and implement Workday upgrades and feature releases; lead module testing
- Prepare training and communications for end-users and managers
- Provide technical assistance to Administrators and End-Users; resolve issues
- Coordinate with HR, IT and management to address problems and implement solutions
- Support HRIS initiatives and ensure system alignment with strategic goals
- Submit and track JIRA issues for functionality requests; collaborate with teams
- Deliver HR system training and self-service improvements
- Drive best-practice data management procedures and governance
- Provide knowledge transfer to functional leads to enable self-sufficiency
- Monitor system processes and ensure timely completion of HR transactions
- Assist with Workday Community searches and knowledge sharing
Key requirements- Bachelor-like degree in Accounting, Business, Human Resources, IT, Information Systems or related field
- Minimum 6 years of HRIS experience with emphasis on Workday preferred
- Strong understanding of HRIS data configuration, workflows, and integrations
- Proven ability to communicate with all organizational levels including executives
- Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, nested formulas, lookups)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with HRIS reporting, testing and upgrades
- Familiarity with Workday Absence, Benefits, Time Tracking, Learning and Payroll is desirable
