Overview As a senior leader in HDR's Architecture Practice, you will sustain and grow the Northeast regional practice, partnering with Market Sector and Regional Ops leadership to deliver growth plans and high-impact projects. You will guide multi-disciplinary offices, nurture client relationships, and drive strategic hires and talent development. Your role supports HDR's pillars-regenerative future, design delivery, and community well-being-through leadership, collaboration, and responsible financial oversight. Responsibilities- Develop and lead regional business group initiatives
- Collaborate with regional Managing Principals to implement growth strategies and operating plans
- Participate in annual alignment and planning meetings
- Support Managing Principals in achieving goals related to P&L
- Build and maintain client relationships and satisfaction
- Oversee staff recruitment, training, development, guidance, compensation, and retention
- Collaborate with market sector leadership to support BD teams and top-line goals
- Identify strategic hires and talent gaps, aiding recruitment
- Co-manage regional P&L with Regional Operations Directors
- Participate in pursuit strategy and project delivery planning to improve project success
- Assist with communications planning to elevate HDR brand in local markets
- Prepare monthly reports for Executive Leadership Team
- Engage in project delivery and travel to studios and project locations
- Perform other duties as needed
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field
- Minimum 12 years of experience in a related field
- Demonstrated experience leading diverse teams
- Ability to work cooperatively with regional directors, office managers, technical and marketing directors
