Overview In this role you will oversee a pre-stabilized portfolio of complex LIHTC equity investments and act as the primary point of contact for partners and stakeholders. You will monitor assets through construction, lease-up and loan conversion, assess risk, and guide performance governance. Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of complex LIHTC equity investments as the main contact for general partners and internal stakeholders
- Monitor performance across construction, lease-up, and stabilized stages; conduct market assessments and review third-party inspections
- Lead risk governance for the portfolio; monitor risk ratings and advise credit partners and senior management
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns/audits, and partnership docs; review GP consent requests; evaluate capital contributions and reserve withdrawals
- Identify issues in troubled investments and implement action plans with cross-functional involvement
- Provide leadership through coaching and mentoring; drive projects, process improvements, and subject matter expertise
Key requirements- 7+ years of Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Management experience
- 7+ years of LIHTC experience across underwriting, portfolio/asset management (desirable)
- Advanced financial and tax analysis capabilities
- Proficiency with complex CRE and partnership documentation, including underwriting perm loan conversions
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management
- Leadership experience in coaching, training, mentoring, and directing project teams
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting or related field
