Overview In this role you will act as the single point of responsibility to deliver project objectives, ensuring safety, quality, profitability, and client satisfaction. You will lead the project team through all phases from acquisition to close-out, coordinating resources and managing scope, schedule, and budget. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to execute the Project Execution Plan and drive project performance at scale. This is an onsite, statewide travel role within MasTec's Clean Energy & Infrastructure segment, offering growth in a large, safety-focused organization.

Responsibilities- Ensure environmental safety compliance on projects
- Guide project resources (staff, equipment, subcontractors) and materials
- Integrate activities per the Project Execution Plan
- Own project budget, forecast, and schedule
- Manage contracts, risks, and changes
- Coordinate project processes across scope, time, cost, quality, HR, communications, risk, procurement, and stakeholder management
- Maintain project documentation and communications to stakeholders
- Lead and mentor project engineers/assistant PMs and coordinate with superintendents and subcontractors
- Monitor CPM schedules and milestone-driven deliverables
- Travel to job sites up to 60% and ensure safety in field work
Key requirements- Bachelor's in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5-10+ years as a Project Manager in heavy civil or large-scale utilities construction (water, wastewater, storm sewer, roadway, underground utilities)
- Experience managing large, complex projects from preconstruction through closeout (budgeting, scheduling, subcontractors, client relations)
- Experience coordinating with municipalities, inspectors, engineers, and utility owners
- Proficiency in Procore, MS Suite, MS Project, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and Excel
- Ability to manage project schedules (CPM) and critical path activities
- Ability to lead and mentor project engineers/assistant PMs and communicate with superintendents and subcontractors
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness and ability to travel to job sites 60% of the time
