Overview In this role you will lead on-site construction oversight for transportation projects, ensuring work aligns with contract documents, codes, and schedules. You'll manage inspection services, coordinate with facility operations and other stakeholders, and review plans for constructability. Responsibilities- Verify construction against contract documents, specifications, and codes
- Manage inspection services to meet schedule and budget targets
- Review daily narratives, labor, and T&M reports for accuracy
- Coordinate construction work with facility operations, other contractors, and stakeholders
- Review drawings for constructability, staging, and logistics
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 15+ years of CTDOT transportation construction experience with emphasis on bridge rehabilitation/reconstruction
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- Project experience over $30 million preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR
- Own vehicle for job-site use
- Ability to read/write English; basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)
- Ability to stand long periods, navigate uneven terrain, wear PPE, and handle equipment up to 50 pounds
