Overview Join Nevada Gold Mines as an Exploration Geologist in the Battle Mountain District to advance geological research, data compilation, mapping, and interpretation in support of our exploration program. You will supervise drilling plans and 3D geological models, contribute to budget planning, and ensure QAQC standards are followed. This role sits within a collaborative, safety driven team focused on discovering and developing top gold assets. You will help unlock growth opportunities across Barrick's Nevada operations and leave a sustainable legacy in host communities.

Responsibilities- conduct and supervise geologic research, data compilation, mapping, sampling, and interpretation
- design and execute drill programs (RC and core) and log geological materials
- develop and validate 3D geologic models and QAQC procedures
- prepare annual budgets and follow work plans
- communicate significant events to senior management and produce monthly progress reports
- perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- Bachelor of Science in Geology or related field
- 1-8 years of mining/mineral exploration experience
- strong organization and attention to detail
- team player with excellent communication skills
- fundamentals in geology, exploration procedures, business acumen, and commercial skills
- ability to develop complex 3D geologic models (Leapfrog preferred)
- strong computer skills; proficiency in ArcGIS and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) preferred
