Overview In this Community Manager role, you will protect, maintain, and enhance the value of residential communities while optimizing the living experience for residents. You will coordinate daily operations across departments to meet financial and performance goals. You'll lead on-site teams, manage leases and revenue, and ensure compliance with policies and resident relations. This is a hands-on, cross-functional leadership role with a clear impact on community performance and resident satisfaction. Responsibilities- Direct day-to-day activities across loss prevention, risk management, safety/security, maintenance, marketing, leasing, and facility upkeep
- Develop operating income through leasing strategy and cash flow management
- Analyze monthly financial statements and variances; manage cash and collections
- Maintain accurate community records and ensure lease data integrity in management software
- Coordinate revenue collection and documentation per lease obligations
- Engage, supervise, and approve invoices for goods/services
- Lead on-site maintenance technicians, office staff, and leasing team
- Manage resident relations including repairs, rent charges, lease issues, and concerns
- Participate in Cardinal U training and monitor team participation
Key requirements- Four years of property management experience
- Strong knowledge of leasing, marketing, construction, residential law, and resident relations
- Working knowledge of property management software; Entrata preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google platform
- Ability to analyze monthly financial statements and prepare budgets and forecasts
- Ability to identify deviations from financial plans and recommend action plans
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and lead projects; strong team collaboration
- Ability to manage time, attention to detail, and maintain professional appearance
